Controller
The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is Luiz Claudio Hogrefe, Cologne, Germany. You can reach him at the email address given in the Impressum.
In short
This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking, embeds no third-party content and loads no fonts or scripts from other servers. Personal data is processed only to deliver the website securely.
Hosting and server logs
The website is served from a server in Germany operated for the provider by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, under a data processing agreement.
When you open a page, the web server records the IP address, date and time, the requested address, the status code, the amount of data and the browser identification in a log. This is necessary to deliver the website and to detect and defend against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is the secure and stable operation of the website. Logs are kept in a rolling buffer of limited size and overwritten automatically, and they are not merged with other data.
Link to LinkedIn
This website has no contact form. It links to the LinkedIn profile of Luiz Claudio Hogrefe. Nothing is transmitted to LinkedIn when a page of this website is opened; only when you follow the link does your browser connect to LinkedIn, and from then on LinkedIn's own privacy policy applies.
Settings stored in your browser
If you choose a colour theme, switch on interface sound, close the language suggestion or pick a language, that choice is stored in your browser's local storage so that it applies on the next page. Nothing is stored unless you make the choice, nothing is sent to the server, and you can remove it at any time by resetting the setting or clearing your browser's site data. The storage is strictly necessary for a function you requested explicitly (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG).
Links to other websites
This website links to other websites, such as anylai.eu and LinkedIn. Data is transferred to them only when you follow a link, and their own privacy policies then apply.
Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). To exercise them, a message to the address in the Impressum is enough.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the one responsible for the provider: Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen, Düsseldorf.
