This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking, embeds no third-party content and loads no fonts or scripts from other servers. Personal data is processed only to deliver the website securely and to answer messages you send.

The website is served from a server in Germany operated for the provider by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, under a data processing agreement.

When you open a page, the web server records the IP address, date and time, the requested address, the status code, the amount of data and the browser identification in a log. This is necessary to deliver the website and to detect and defend against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is the secure and stable operation of the website. Logs are kept in a rolling buffer of limited size and overwritten automatically, and they are not merged with other data.

If you use the contact form, your name, email address, the optional topic and your message are transmitted by encrypted email to the provider's mailbox, so that your enquiry can be answered. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your message concerns a possible contract, such as an employment relationship, and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR otherwise; the legitimate interest is answering your enquiry.

To protect the form against automated misuse, a hashed, non-reversible derivative of your IP address is kept in memory for up to one hour. Messages are deleted when the conversation has ended and no retention obligation applies, and at the latest after twelve months.

If you choose a colour theme or switch on interface sound, that choice is stored in your browser's local storage so that it applies on the next page. Nothing is stored unless you make the choice, nothing is sent to the server, and you can remove it at any time by resetting the setting or clearing your browser's site data. The storage is strictly necessary for a function you requested explicitly (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG).

This website links to other websites, such as anylai.eu and LinkedIn. Data is transferred to them only when you follow a link, and their own privacy policies then apply.

You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). To exercise them, a message to the address in the Impressum is enough.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the one responsible for the provider: Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen, Düsseldorf.
